Sort of in the vein of Fig & Olive comes Oliana, another olive oil obsessed venue which officially opened today (soft launched late May) within the Pavilions Marketplace in West Hollywood. Oliana isn't really a restaurant though, rather an olive oil tasting bar and gourmet shop selling vinegar and other imported larder goods in addition to oils from Italy, Tunisia, Chile, California, Australia and Spain. The shop holds 40 stainless steel tanks filled with various oils and vinegars which enables customers to create custom oil and/or vinegar blends based on one's flavor preferences. Right now Oliana's website is pretty blank, but starting June 10 patrons will have the option to shop online. Oh, and here's a full list of oils and vinegars on offer. [EaterWire]
