Homeboy Diner Opens, Baller Dinner at Providence, More!

DOWNTOWN— So, the name has been changed from Homeboy General Store to Homeboy Diner, and yesterday at 10AM Homeboy Industries, the non-profit that employs ex gang members, held a press conference to announce its newest addition on the second floor of City Hall. Homeboy Diner serves a medley of Mexican dishes from Homeboy Bakery and Homegirl Café. Hours of operation run M-F, 6:30AM-6PM. [EaterWire]

HOLLYWOOD— Holy epicness. Providence has culled an all-star team for a fancy fancy feast to celebrate the recently published guidebook, Opinionated About U.S. Restaurants 2011.
