A full year and a half ago came musings from neighboring businesses that Jinky's Cafe on Sunset, in the complex with Sushi Park and Joe's Pizza, was suffering from a lack of business. So, last December when Jinky's shuttered, nobody was overly surprised. Now, six months deep, a new tenant has moved in, please welcome the previously mentioned San Diego-based burger chain, Burger Lounge. The bright and modern SoCal chainlet touts burgers made from "healthy ingredients" and utilizes eco-friendly practices (from energy efficient lighting to sustainably farmed foodstuffs). Look for an opening mid-July to early August.
