Off The Facebook comes news that Tom Bergin's Tavern, Los Angeles' oldest surviving Irish venue which dates back to 1936 (!), will shutter for a remodel on July 1 under the leadership of new owners:
"Starting Friday July 1st, Tom Bergin's Tavern will be be closed for renovations under the guidance of new owners Warner Ebbink and Executive Chef Brendan Boudet. So, make plans to stop by before then. Begining June 27th thru June 30th The Tavern will feature many drink and dining specials to commerate 38 years of ownership by Peggy & T.K.
