Enter the Montage, walk through the lobby down the hall to the right, then turn left into Scarpetta. Walk past the host stand, up the staircase, to the right, then through that one final door into 10 Pound, the private Macallan bar on Scarpetta's mezzanine level which debuted last Saturday. While the bar is technically open for hotel guests and Macallan aficionados, you've got to make a reservation to get in, and to make a reservation you need 10 Pound's "secret" phone number. And let's just say you procure this number and end up inside the bar which, more than anything else looks like a fancy pants den or library minus the books, be ready to spend at the very least $25 for one drink with a $50 minimum spend.
All sorts of astronomically high prices grace the drinks menu, and it's no surprise that 10 Pound also offers caviar service with that $35 cocktail. Food comes by way of Scott Conant and Scarpetta, here's the full menu which incudes oysters, cheese, tartares, foie, etc.
