Over a year has passed and still nobody has forgotten the spectacle that was The Hump. The restaurant within the Santa Monica Airport caught serving illegal, endangered whale meat. The LA Times reports that Ginichi Ohira, the man who sold The Hump its whale meat, plead guilty to the crime earlier this week and could face eight to 14 months in prison. Apparently, Ohira had been illegally importing whale meat from Tokyo to LA since 2001. [LAT]
