CENTURY CITY— Toddrickallen reports that BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse opened today at 11AM in the Westfield Century City mall. All sorts of exciting. Meanwhile, there's still another BJ's potentially slated to launch in Pas. [Toddrickallen, previously]
WEHO— Eater heard a wacky rumor that chef and pop-up prince Ludo Lefebvre would open LudoBites 7.0 in the shuttered Bastide space. That would be a kinda cool full circle decision. But, no such luck. The chef says "Ah, No!!!! Been there done that. :)" [EaterWire]
OC— According to OCR, Shaheen Sadeghi, the individual behind OC's, The Lab and The Camp outdoor malls, has sifted his attention to a a circa-1919 Spanish Revival citrus plant (on Anaheim Boulevard between East Santa Ana and East Broadway streets) which he will morph into, what he describes as, "a true food hall." A full 25 "unique food vendors, bistros and cafes" are expected to claim ground, and apparently Umami and Pitfire Pizza checked out spaces. The first tenant, Anaheim Brewery, should open later this month. [OCR via GS]
