Les Deux in Hollywood To Reopen as Sadie Restaurant

The story of Les Deux goes a little something like this: Back about five years ago, when the venue first opened, Les Deux was THE hotspot frequented by Hollywood stars and starlets. The nighttime haunt lasted a solid four years in Hollywoodland before it ditched the club vibe in favor of a gastropub restaurant serving shmancy seasonal libations. Unfortunately though, just four months later, Les Deux The Restaurant or Les Deux Estate (neon green chairs and all) announced its shutter with another restaurant on the way slated to open this summer. Which brings us to Sadie, the next incarnation moving into 1638 N. Las Palmas. So far, not a ton of info. There's this mostly blank website and this mostly blank Facebook page. But, Facebook does reveal that Giovanni Martinez (Les Deux) has been named director of spirits/mixology, and that tastings have been going on for at least the last three weeks. More to come.
