Chef Ben Bailly served a full eight months at Culver City's Fraiche, but as of last week his toque has left the restaurant. On Friday Bailly started the first day of his newest venture, private cheffing in Beverly Hills, and this part-time position grants him the free time to consider his own venture.
As for Fraiche (the sophomore effort of which is up for sale), the restaurant has yet to hire a replacement, though management intends on maintaining Bailly's French-Italian menu. [EaterWire]
