Construction is not yet complete, though our mouths are beginning to water. Thomas Keller's famed Napa Valley patisserie and cafe, Bouchon Bakery, opens on August 17 in Beverly Hills. Much in the vein of that holiday pop-up last December, Bouchon Bakery manifests itself on the converted ground floor lobby entrance to Bouchon.
Designer Adam Tihany, who created the look of all past Bouchon Bakery outposts, has signed on to conceive the aesthetic here, and this ground floor bakery will open out to that garden plaza area between Bouchon and The Montage.
Pastry chef Roy Shvartzapel will oversee all manners of bread, pastry, muffin, tart, cookie, and chocolate production, meanwhile Bouchon's chef de cuisine Rory Hermann will handle the savory. In this case that encompasses soups, salads, sandwiches, even pet treats. Just 16 days...
