Here now a peek inside that new Mezzanine Bar above Picca, Ricardo Zarate's new Peruvian concept in the townhouse formerly occupied by Test Kitchen. As previously mentioned, mixologist Julian Cox (Rivera, Playa) handles the booze, and over the weekend he debuted a list of libations described by management as "emergency room-themed drinks." The actual menu is en route, but in the meantime check out the upstairs which is marked by a granite bar, slew of two tops and lounge tables, plus a steam of chairs along the ledge overlooking Picca downstairs. Walk-ins welcome.
