In connection to that whole $25 million dollar overhaul at the Villa Marina Marketplace, it appears as though Nichols Restaurant has closed up shop. Signage by the restaurant's door indicates that the venue is closed for renovations, but a relaunch as its former self seems unlikely. [EaterWire]
