The Paramount Set To Open in Boyle Heights This Winter

The old Paramount Ballroom in Boyle Heights, which currently houses the Casa Grande events space, is going to turn into a mixed-use building with a huge theater, bar and restaurant called The Paramount. Rumor has it that management is looking to partner with Pitfire Pizza for the restaurant, while the current bar at Casa Grande may stay and service those clients on the drinks side of things. The architecture firm behind the project is looking to start construction next month, with an opening set for December or January. Also, the city is heavily backing this project in hopes of turning the neighborhood around.
