Saturday's 9th Annual Plate by Plate evening of indulgence kicked Vibiana's butt. Over 1,000 in attendance enjoyed food from Charlie Palmer, Chaya, Church & State, Guelaguetza, Jar, Maison Akira, Night+Market, Pizzeria Ortica, The Royce, Starry Kitchen, Laurent Quenioux, Walter Manzke and Wood & Vine. While the event started at 6PM for VIPs, it lasted well into the night as the DJ spun and entertainment covered the stage in color and dance.

Standouts included a tender slice of beef filet from The Royce, Picca's Peruvian chicken stew, and Starry Kitchen's lemongrass-spiced chicken and rice. Wood & Vine brought an impressive variety of charcuterie, while Walter and Marg Manzke held fort on the patio with delicious little potato taquitos. (Manzke mentioned that an announcement about his forthcoming spot is "coming soon.") Dozens of wine and beer vendors boozed everyone up (read: got them to bid on auction items), and an entire aisle of desserts was presented by Ciel chocolates, Plush Puffs, Pop Candy, and others.
