Eric Greenspan Creating Menu at Hotel Wilshire's The Roof on Wilshire

New, 8 comments

Located just west of Crescent Heights sits The Hotel Wilshire, a new eco-friendly boutique property designed by Killefer Flammang Architects and KNA Design, slated to open in September. In addition to its 74 guest rooms The Hotel Wilshire offers denizens a rooftop pool and signature dining destination, The Roof on Wilshire, serving "Bold American" fare "with innovative and loud twists on classic comfort foods" helmed by "celebrity chef" and owner of The Foundry, Eric Greenspan. So says the website.

Loud twists? Sounds like a Greenspan endeavor, the chef must be taking time out from the forthcoming Greenspan's Grilled Cheese which is still a work in progress. In addition to the restaurant, patrons can expect "a sophisticated bar specializing in both classic and imaginative signature cocktails," just one more new boozy option for the nabe along with Stark Bar at LACMA and the reboot of Tom Bergin's.
