Salvage Bar & Lounge Opens September 14 Downtown

Up above, a sneak peek inside Salvage Bar & Lounge, that new evening haunt which has sprung up in the eastern portion of The Roosevelt Residences downtown. As previously mentioned, Salvage was conceived almost entirely out of salvaged materials leftover from the construction of The Roosevelt Residences, a property which dates back to 1926.

The 2,000 square foot space developed by Nocturnal Entertainment Group involves a modern aesthetic accentuated by reclaimed vintage pieces. For example, Salvage's bar is made from an old brass door, vintage panels, and stained glass. Overall the venue incorporates exposed brick walls, distressed leather booths, and modular seating covered in vintage fabrics. For warmer nights, there's an outdoor patio as well.

On the food and drink front, bartenders serve "speciality" cocktails made with organic juices like the Sangria Sensation (Veev, wine, and fresh squeezed juices) and the Organic Margarita (made with organic 4 Copas Tequila). If you're hungry, expect to find somewhat standard bar bites inclusive of jalepeno poppers, chicken potstickers, and popcorn shrimp. Salvage opens to the public on Wednesday and hours of operation run Monday through Friday 3PM to 2AM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 6PM to 2AM.
