HOLLYWOOD— Here's a look at the new La Descarga cocktail menu organized by barstaff under the guidance of head bartender Kenny Arbuckle. GM Steve Livigni says the new drinks officially roll out next week (you might be able to try some tonight if you say "pretty please"), and this list is a bit smaller than Descarga's most recent roster (16 cocktails as opposed to 20). CULVER CITY/NYC— A couple Coolhaus updates. The Culver City freezery is expected to open in about one month, meanwhile that previously mentioned NYC stand by the American Museum of Natural History debuts next Thursday. [EaterWire]

MID-CITY— Chef Jason Fullilove, previously of The Curious Palate and before that Desert Rose, has accepted a cheffing position at Mark Peel's The Tar Pit (he spent the past few months at Campanile). He's in the process of changing the entire menu. [EaterWire]
DOWNTOWN— On September 27 The Spice Table will hold a dinner in collaboration with local brewer Craftsman (based in Pas). The menu is still tbd but five courses are planned, to be paired with Craftsman brews. Beer and apps start at 7PM, $55 a head. [EaterWire]
