Capricciosa, a Japan-ified Italian eatery which is part of a popular Japanese restaurant chain that first launched in Tokyo circa 1978, has opened at the intersection of Crenshaw and and Lomita in the same building that once serve as Claim Jumper. Here's a look at the "Italian" menu, so far mixed reviews on Yelp.

And, into this same building also comes an outpost of Tony Roma's (up front, Capricciosa is in the back), a branch of the widespread US rib chain. [EaterWire]
