Slow Fish Opens on Wilshire, Gives Food Trucks Some Competition

Wilshire Boulevard, between San Vicente and La Brea, tends to attract more food trucks these days than brick & mortar restaurants. Lucky for Slow Fish of Huntington Beach, their new location doesn't have much competition. As previously reported, Slow Fish LA took over the former Cafe Flourish space. The space has been gutted and design elements include a new sleek sushi bar, lots of black and white and a few sparkly red touches. Chandeliers and lots of glass complete the modern look. Owners are serving a menu similar to their Huntington Beach location. Their signature Black Rice sushi is featured, along with a seamless menu of sushi spot standards: rolls, rice & noodle bowls and larger plates with fusion-y flavors.
