Central by Michel Richard Now Open, New Nightlife Headed to Mandalay Bay, Blush Shutters This Sat in the Wynn

1) Caesars Palace: Central by Michel Richard has expanded from Washington D.C. to Las Vegas, opening yesterday in the main lobby of Caesars Palace. Up above, a tour of the space which seats 220 inside, 80 outside, and another 75 by the bar. At Central Richard serves American fare with French influences 24/7 (yes, this restaurant is open allllll through the night, every night), think fried chicken, a lobster burger, and perhaps French toast creme brulee for breakfast. OpenTable will soon allow you to make a resy here. [EaterWire]

2) Mandalay Bay: Andrew Sasson has been quite busy changing the face of the Light Group’s Vegas scene. It has been confirmed that he will partner up with Richie Akiva, Scott Sartiano, and Ronnie Madra to bring 1Oak to the former Jet space. Subsequently, Vegas Chatter has revealed that they will be launching Lily in the Bellagio after giving their Carmel lounge a facelift – though this is denied by their spokesperson. Now we hear from industry and Light Group insiders that Sasson also wants to hop on the house music bandwagon. Apparently, he is looking to create a collaboration with DJ’s Steve Angelo, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Axwell of the Swedish House Mafia (SHM) and Cirque du Soleil to bring a new nightlife experience to Mandalay Bay. 3) Wynn: Sean Christie’s Las Vegas Nightlife Group will be shuttering Blush Ultralounge inside Wynn Las Vegas come Saturday. The group will still manage Encore Beach Club, Surrender Nightclub, and Kim Canteenwala’s Society Café. Word is that the Wynn club scene will be focusing more on big name DJ’s, under the direction of the resorts new Director of Nightlife Entertainment Zarnaz “Zee” Zandi. As for the Blush space Christie states, "I am incredibly proud of the success we've had at Blush over the past four years. As the city's first boutique nightclub, Blush provided an experience that offered an incredibly beautiful space with an unprecedented light and sound system. We hosted some of the most successful events and promotions in Las Vegas over the years, all carried out by our incredible team of service professionals. Blush was my first nightlife project with Mr. Wynn and I look forward to growing our partnership in the future with exciting new opportunities." A rep furthers that there is “more to come.” [EaterWire] — DM
