Welcome back to another Plywood Report, where we track some of the latest openings around town. Spot something new that we've missed? Let us know. 1) Chino Hills: Dillon's Irish Pub is on an expansion streak. They opened their Hollywood location nearly three full years ago, but are now about to open in Chino Hills with a location in San Diego to follow shortly thereafter. "The Shoppes at Chino Hills approached us," said a PR rep on site, "so we knew Dillon's was wanted in the neighborhood." [EaterWire]
2) West Third: Checking in over at Barefoot, where new windows, woodwork and water pipes have all been installed, there's no sign of further construction or life. Most of the ivy is gone from the facade, but the paper is still up on the windows. Next door, Breadbar is still closed. Management says they are renovating and hope to reopen in two months. [EaterWire]
3) Santa Monica: Last we heard, Blue Plate Taco was supposed to open this month. Judging by the concrete-based, glass-encased void that currently fills the space, this opening sounds like it may be delayed. [EaterWire]
