Chef Jet Tila Consults on Bru Haus Menu, Also Part of New SaMo Gastropub The Charleston

New, 1 comment

An unexpected turn for Wazuzu (Encore Las Vegas) chef and co-creator of the Bistronomics dining series, Jet Tila. Word on the street is that Tila has been tapped to create the dineLA menu for newish Westside addition Bru Haus, and supposedly he will become more involved with the space down the line.

In other news, Tila is also set to become a managing partner in a new Santa Monica gastropub called The Charleston. At the moment details are scarce, but Tila will have creative involvement in terms of the design and menu. The restaurant itself is supposedly within proximity to Wilshire Restaurant. One possible construction site: the north west corner of Wilshire and Princeton (pictured above) located just one block away from the recently launched Milo & Olive. [EaterWire] — David Morris
