Entertainment lawyer Josh Saltman spent a pretty penny to launch Vodvil last July. He hired Ralph Gentile Architects (Red O) to build out 333 N. Fairfax into a 70s inspired getup, snagged Top Chef alum Jamie Lauren to prepare comfort bites, and threw open doors with a splashy opening party. As it turns out, Angelenos are not too keen on game night, and a Vodvil employee confirms that the venue will shutter January 15. Game over.
