HOLLYWOOD— Urban Daddy shares a look inside Sadie, the reconfigured Les Deux space which opens to the public on January 24. Check out the warm, woodsy space which offers three seating options: bar/lounge, main dining room, or patio. [Urban Daddy]
MID-CITY— Caroline on Crack is no such fan of Bugatta, the restaurant and bar that took over for Bungalow Club back in October. In a post titled Places I’ll Never Show My Face in Again: Bugatta on Melrose she examines the cocktail list "Mojito-tini, raspberry lemon drop, blueberry lychee. Wasn’t this the same menu that Bungalow had from the early 2000s?" and finds out the hard way that the venue's Moscow Mule is NOT made with fresh lime juice, as the menu states. CoC decides "it was the worst cocktail I’ve ever had." Cockfail. [CoC]
CULVER CITY— Grub Street reports that a new Oaxacan restaurant called EK Valley has replaced Xotik Kitchen on Washington Blvd. [Grub Street]
