Well. This is the opposite of a shocker. The six-month-old St. Tropez-inspired Rosé restaurant on La Cienega is out of commish. A reader chronicles the past few months of operation: "Tried being a restaurant. Tried doing clubby daytime brunch parties on Saturdays. Tried doing daytime clubby brunch parties on Sundays. Then just gave up on food altogether and tried being a nightclub on Fridays, Saturday, and Sundays (without a dance license)." According to a banner across the venue's website, "Rose Restaurants is currently closed as we undergo renovations. We will be reopening in March 2012!" [EaterWire]
