At long last, it's a pleasure to announce that Eater has touched down in Las Vegas for good with today's launch of Eater Vegas. It joins the growing family of Eater websites — Eater National, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland, Miami, Chicago, Austin, Washington, DC, Seattle, Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, New Orleans, Boston, Denver, and, also launching today, Eater Philly. Eater Vegas aims to serve as the go-to site for insider restaurant, nightlife, and bar scene coverage that Eater is known for.
Eater Vegas is headed by Susan Stapleton, a writer based in Las Vegas who's written for publications including Haute Living, Vegas Magazine, and Las Vegas Magazine. There's arguably no first-tier food city that needs de-bullshitification quite like Las Vegas, and she'll be the one to sort through it all for us. But, for those who've enjoyed David Morris' scoopy Vegas coverage here on Eater LA, fear not: he'll still be contributing to Eater, though most of his work will reside at Eater Vegas from now on.
