CULVER CITY— Farid Zadi and wife Susan Park of Café Livre (previously Eat.Good.Clean.Food.) plan to open a coffee and tea garden at the eatery/ cooking school's enclosed back patio on January 21. Menu here. [EaterWire]

AROUND TOWN— Grub Street says that chef Laurent Quenioux of the shuttered Bistro LQ and Starry Kitchen's Nguyen Tran are working out details for a marijuana pop-up likely to be held at a private location in about two months. Chef Quenioux will prepare dishes that emphasize marijuana flavor, meanwhile Tran will focus on plates using Chinese herbs. [Grub Street]
