1) Beverly Hills: Mandarin Restaurant on Camden is no longer, however as of late December a new crew has stepped up to bat: Ryan Hollins, Dennis Robertson, and Simon Simonian. Operating under the title "House of Music & Entertainment LLC," the trio plan to open a new eatery called Home in the coming months. [EaterWire]

2) Pasadena: Pasadena Scoop reports that Racion, a new sustainable Spanish concept, will replace Trattoria Tre Venezie on W. Green. Management launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for construction. [PS]

4) Pasadena: Pasadena Scoop also brings word of Wonderland Custom Cakes opening January 14 at 107 S. Fair Oaks Ave. Not to be confused with the shuttered Wonderland Bakery from OC, this sweets shop is a project from Cupcake Wars winner Anthony Valerio and his aunt Vandy Altouian. [PS]
