With their Hollywood location up and running, Chick-Fil-A is about to open their second location in Torrance; it's the company's first stand-alone location in the South Bay. The newest Chick-fil-A opens to the public this Thursday, January 12. This brings Chick-Fil-A's restaurant count to over 50 units as they make their way North towards San Francisco. The 66 year old company has been giving their first 100 fans free Chick-fil-A for a year since 2003; add up all of those giveaways and the company has randomly given away over $13 million in fried chicken sandwiches. As with all Chick-fil-A openings, the first 100 adults in line on opening day this Thursday will be awarded a free year’s supply of Chick-fil-A. Fans can start lining up at 6AM this Wednesday, January 11. [EaterWire]
