The blogosphere, Facebook and Twitter have been buzzing all weekend about Blue Palm Brewhouse's lease woes and impending shutter. When the Music Factory lost their lease yesterday, over a thousand fans rushed to the rescue online. A "Save the Music" page was started on Facebook. Fans have been calling Blue Palms to get a firm word on when the pub whether the pub would be open (until further notice), and plans are in progress for a special dinner to celebrate the popular bar or even raise money to save it.
Yesterday, Facebook fan Jessica Patton wrote, "Just heard about this impending closure... as of the 6th, it wasn't official right? Let your fans know if there's anything we can do to help you fight to stay right where you're at. Hollywood needs you. I need you." Meanwhile, it's business as usual as fans #OccupyBluePalms.
