On Friday night chef Neal Fraser (Grace, BLD) opened the doors to his new artisan hot dog shop Fritzi Dog at The Farmers Market for a test run, and on October 25 the place goes whole hog.
Similar to Nancy Silverton and Amy Pressman's elevated burgers at nearby Short Order, Fritzi Dog takes a high quality approach to the hot dog. The entire menu is ready to view right here, there's beef, pork, beef/pork, and turkey/duck dogs served on Rockenwagner buns (pick from brioche, Parker, pretzel, gluten-free) and a slew of toppings. Tots and fries are extra, served with or without cheese. Unless one opts for a "premium topping" or "house sauce," a standard dog costs $6.25
