Harvest Moon Kitchen & Marketplace is the brick and mortar outpost of chef Chris Drapkin's Harvest Moon catering company, soft open as of October 20 in North Hollywood. Though her name might not sound familiar, years back Drapkin worked under Josie le Bach (Josie) at Saddle Peak Lodge.
At Harvest Moon Drapkin is serving a seasonal, organic, regional American menu of soups, salads, and sandwiches from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Think egg preparations and Groundwork coffee in the morning, and about half a dozen sandwiches and salads the rest of the day, served with a side of fries (sweet potato, garlic, shoestring), salad, or house-made salt and pepper potato chips.
