TOLUCA LAKE— Word on the street is that management behind Lucy's 51 on Riverside Drive is planning to expand the eatery to the empty space next door, possibly with a conceptual retool. Management also recently acquired the shuttered Chez Nous across the street. [EaterWire]

IRVINE— Newport Beach resident George Osumi of Legend Cellars Inc. has been accused of stealing $2.7 million of vintage wine. LAT reports that clients hired Osumi to store rare bottles of wine in a temperature-controlled facility in Irvine. Osumi allegedly stole bottles of expensive wine and replaced them with cheap alternatives. [LAT]
