Susan Sarandon and André Balazs to Open SPiN, a Ping Pong "Social Club," at The Standard Downtown

SPiN is a ping pong nightclub opened three years ago by actress Susan Sarandon in Manhattan. Now, she and hotelier André Balazs are planning a branch to launch in late November at Balazs' The Standard Downtown. Some more info here with court rates and such. Annual membership, sign-up for which begins today, usually costs $500, but is discounted to $350 for the first 500 founding members who will also score some extra benefits.
