Asian Fusion Gastropub The Black Sheep to Open Dtown

The papered over doorway next door to Cole's at 6th and Main, once Blu LA Cafe, will soon be home to The Black Sheep, a fusiony Asian gastropub from Tuan Thai, co-owner of nearby Syrup Desserts. Brigham Yen says to expect plates like "Vietnamese-inspired banh mi sliders, Korean sliders, egg rolls, and even different versions of poutine" in addition to draft beer, wine, beer floats, sake drinks, and punch. Estimated launch: before the end of the year.
