Seasonally-Inclined Resto Cortez Coming to Echo Park

Cortez is a new farm-to-table dining establishment headed to Echo Park from Cookbook artisan market owners Marta Teegan and Robert Stelzner. Grub Street states that Cortez will serve "locally procured organic produce, sustainable seafood, and pasture raised meats, along with pickles and charcuterie made in house for breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week." Photographer Todd Selby is promoting his new book Edible Selby with a public tapas and drinks event at Cortez set for October 28. The cost is $30 for drinks/bites or $65 for drinks/bites and a copy of the book. Resy here.
