Here's a looksee inside 3rd Street Promenade's Hummus Bar Express, a more modern, fast-serve offshoot of Tarzana's popular Hummus Bar & Grill. Though plywood still shields the eatery's glass facade from pedestrians, looks like a substantial al fresco dining area is taking shape, beyond which sits the restaurant itself with a series of perched twotops and a communal table. Right now the restaurant is hiring, which means a debut should take place in the very near future. Hours of operation to run Sunday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday/Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m.
