Piero Selvaggio, owner of Valentino, is planning a 40th Anniversary White Truffle Gala at his longtime Santa Monica Italian institution. The 10-course meal, guest cheffed by Walter Ferretto (Cascinale Nuovo in Asti, Piemonte) and Valentino alums, includes one course with white truffles freshly picked the night before and hand carried by Ferretto to the restaurant from Asti.
