Messhall's The Finding [of Another Kindred Soul]

Messhall, the hip new Los Feliz addition serving "glammed-up 1940s dinner-party food" and "important" drinks by barman Erik Lund, joins in Eater's Cocktail Week fun.

As a reminder, Eater asked five bars around the city to create special, limited time only off-the-menu Eater drinks, and while we've already shared A-Frame's Backwoods Old Fashioned, next comes Lund's The Finding [of Another Kindred Soul] for $11. Here, Lund wanted to create a boozy and warming intoxicant appropriate for the seasonal transition from fall to winter. So, he combines Old Weller bourbon (107 proof!), Suze, Pedro Ximenez sherry, a flamed grapefruit peel and finally a spritz of Laphroaig 10 Year mist for the above pictured special order.

Stay turned for additional alcoholic beverages from SHOREbar, The Hungry Cat, and The Roger Room later this week.
