La Monarca Bakery Set to Rule South Pasadena

La Monarca Bakery, known for its Mexican and American-style breads, pastries and cakes, is expanding into South Pasadena. Construction personnel say that the bakery aims to open in just a couple of weeks. This will be La Monarca's fourth space; management also operates outposts in Santa Monica, Huntington Park and East LA. La Monarca South Pasadena plans to serve the same menu of savory and sweet baked goods as offered at other locations, in addition to offering coffee drinks and catering.
