A Food Affair — catering company to the stars, as well as WME, Sony and a ton of other biggie organizations — debuted its American restaurant with French accents on November 8 in the prior S. Robertson Boulevard home to Cafe Bella Roma, south of Pico. Proprietors Babette and Christian Royere have operated A Food Affair for years, and, in fact, they also ran Babette's Restaurant in the Marina.
On Robertson they're serving this reasonably priced menu of American-French fare with all dishes costing under $20, from duck confit to steak frites. While the Royeres are working on securing a license for beer and wine, until then patrons are encouraged to BYO free of corkage charge. Hours of operation run Tuesday to Thursday 5:30 to 10 p.m., Friday to Saturday 5:30 to 11 p.m. and Sunday 5 to 9:30 p.m. [EaterWire]
