The Roger Room's The Borrowed Tuxedo

Elizabeth Daniels 11/12

Eater asked five bars around the city to create special, limited time only off-the-menu Eater drinks, available through Sunday for Eater's Cocktail Week. So far Brian Butler at A-Frame will serve you a Backwoods Old Fashioned, and Erik Lund at Messhall is offering up The Finding [of Another Kindred Soul]. Today Damian Windsor at the Roger Room joins in with The Borrowed Tuxedo at $13.

Exploring the "mystery" of rum, Windsor pairs a dark rum with citrus and fall spices to create the taste of autumn. He stirs Brugal Extra Viejo rum, St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram, fresh lime juice, Angostura Bitters, and pours the drink over rocks. Yes.

Stay turned for additional alcoholic beverages from SHOREbar and The Hungry Cat still to come.
