CULVER CITY— Now that Tender Greens founders Erik Oberholtzer, Matt Lyman, and David Dressler have a mini quick serve empire on their hands, it's time to revert back to their roots: Tender Greens in Culver City. WOODLAND HILLS— Customizable pizza outlet PizzaRev was supposed to open earlier this month, but the debut has been pushed to December 5. [EaterWire]
WEST HOLLYWOOD— LA has Japanese-American styled burgers, and now, thanks to JapaDog, there likely will be Japanese-American styled hot dogs. Grub Street learns that the Vancouver-based chain, which debuted in Manhattan last January, has its sights set on LA, with the intent to first launch via "stalls in outdoor spaces" then graduate to shopping malls. BTW, in NYC, JapaDog will top your link with caviar and wasabi mayo. [Grub Street]
