Larkin's Soul Food Joint Finally Departing Eagle Rock

New, 18 comments

A year and a half ago Eater received a tip that changes were underway at Larkin's in Eagle Rock, specifically that the soul food restaurant — which folded in its downtown mac and cheese cafe, Mac and Cheeza, last year — was destined to shutter. On Friday evening management announced Larkin's imminent end as follows:

To our beloved loyal customers who have made this dream possible, It has been fun feeding y'all, but it's time for us to move on to new adventures. Come in and say goodbye before we close up shop for good... or drop us a line if you are ever in the Big Easy! We will be open for the next two weeks then we bid you our fairwell. Please come check out the new folks taking our place, the space will still be here and trust me... I put them through the ringer!
More to come on the venue's next tenant.
