Perhaps you've dined at Manhattan's branch of Del Frisco's Grille in Rockefeller Center, or maybe at the Phoenix location in Camelback Corridor. If so then you're familiar with the modern chain's fusiony American bar and grill menu of ahi tacos, tomato/burrata salad and steaks. Next summer Del Frisco's Grille is headed to Santa Monica and will open in place of the currently operating Il Fornaio, but no word on when Il Fornaio is expected to cease operations.
The area around Ocean and Colorado is soon going to blow up with the addition of Seasons 52, Ozumo, 41 Club, and now a SoCal branch of Del Frisco's Grille. An appropriate addition located across from the touristy Santa Monica Pier. [ELA]
