1) West Hollywood: Hot'N'Juicy Crawfish, the string of seafood restaurants originally born in Vegas, opened on Saturday in the once home to Pomodoro on Santa Monica Boulevard at La Brea. This is one of those unfussy restaurants that will bring you a bib and serve your seafood in a plastic bag with a customized level of spice and seasoning. In addition to the namesake, there's also oysters, crab, lobster, clams and shrimp, a handful of mostly fried seafood appetizers, and basic beer to drink.
2) Hollywood: Also open as of this past weekend is Jameson's Irish Pub, the bar launched by Milton Zampelli and Michael Bezerra of Cabo Cantina. It's a theme-y Irish version of Cabo, plastered with Guinness signage in a space modified from Boardwalk on Hollywood Boulevard. Standard bar food is on offer here, too, see the menu on Facebook. 6681 Hollywood Blvd.
