Some updates on West LA's esteemed Hole in the Wall Burger Joint. Which will soon no longer be a hole in the wall. As previously reported, management had snapped up the former La Salsa space in Santa Monica, however this location is not by the Third Street Promenade. Instead, HitW replaces the La Salsa on Colorado between 20th and Cloverfield in the Plaza at Arboretum complex with Starbucks, Quiznos, and others. And, according to the burger joint's website, its current outpost on Santa Monica Boulevard is set to shutter as a result of lease issues. Hole in the Wall Burger Joint on Colorado should open the first week of January. [EaterWire]
