King Eddy Saloon's Final Days, Pop-Up Chip Shop, More!

DOWNTOWN— The same guys behind Urbano, Michael Leko and Will Shamlian, are in charge of the King Eddy Saloon restoration. The historic bar offers last call this weekend, throwing in the towel for a facelift after its last day of service on December 16. ECHO PARK—Well, there's a pop-up potato chip shop called Chips, Crisps & Wafers landing at an gallery called iam8bit on W. Sunset Boulevard near Alvarado from December 14 to December 23. The temporary snacking engagement promises more than 50 flavors of potato chip from around the world. [LAist]
