Cafe Gratitude Team Expand Gracias Madre to WeHo

New, 5 comments

Those behind Cafe Gratitude plan to bring Gracias Madre, their San Francisco-based Nuevo Latino vegan concept, to West Hollywood in about eight to 10 months. Gracias Madre is really like a Mexican version of Cafe Gratitude with an organic, seasonal, meat-free menu of empanadas, enchiladas, and tacos, plus organic beer and wine. Dishes bear straightforward names, the mission of love continues, and the restaurant itself represents: "our devotion to the Earth and the divine feminine, and our commitment to raising consciousness on the planet."

Anyway, management has a space across the street from Craig's on Melrose, and right now they are figuring out logistics on how to convert a furniture store into a restaurant. [EaterWire]
