HUGE news in the world of Los Angeles sushi. Acclaimed sushi spot Sushi Zo, one of the top traditional Japanese omakase places in the city, is launching a location on the ground floor of new apartment complex Medallion Apartments at 4th and Main. Sushi Zo in Palms has earned a near perfect Yelp score for its wide variety of exceptionally fresh fish which is served with freshly grated wasabi in a multi-course chef's tasting menu. It's quite pricey, nearly $200 a head, but top quality sushi is never cheap.

The forthcoming Old Bank District location encompasses 1,600 square feet and should open mid to late next year.
